Is this October?

I can't believe its October!  The temps are in the mid 80's and it humidity is like a nasty day in mid July!  Ugh!   Where is my crisp, cool, Fall days?

The leaves are beginning to change, but it sure doesn't feel like Fall!   Soon we will go to pic up some pumpkins for carving.   I want to decorate the house, but this weather is making me hold back.

We went to church this morning, and hubby made waffles for breakfast.  I have a party to go to this afternoon, then going for a ride with hubby later today.

I am going to start looking for some crockpot recipes.   I love having everything ready in it for a nice cozy dinner on Fall days.  Yesterday I made an apple pie for dessert.   So good...yum!
