The Days Flew By

Monday, at 4:30 am, we took our son Chris and granddaughter Sofia to the airport.  They were returning to Florida!  These 10 days just flew by!  We had many many family dinners, laughing over when our sons were kids, pranks they pulled,  all great memories!  In the midst of this I had my scheduled mammogram to take on Thursday.  Thank God, all was normal.

Yesterday, Sunday,  we celebrated the Baptism of our new granddaughter Olivia!  It was a beautiful time, and after we had a luncheon at the Radison.  Great food!

The house is so empty!  Quiet.  Our son Mike just came and picked up Olivia, (she just turned 3 months yesterday as well).  We watch her Monday, Wednesday, and alternate Fridays.   She brings such joy to us!   She is getting so alert, recognizing things and smiling and laughing.

Here is a picture of both of our granddaughters!  Sofia is 11 and Olivia 3 months!

We changed Olivia out of her baptism gown so she wouldn't get it messed.  It was such a wonderful day!  We are so blessed!

Tomorrow we will have Olivia here again.  I can't wait!

On another note, here we are, November 8, and today it was 71 degrees!  It's gotten cold tonight down to 34, and we are expecting rain from the Tropical storm headed up the coast.

Hi Kathy, it sounds like you have been in grandma heaven with your grand girls. What a cute picture of the two of them together. We got rain and cooler temperatures this week. A few lows in the 30's. I could really enjoy this weather. I sleep better when it is cold!
